Signs and symptoms post-VTE
After a lower limb DVT, a number of patients develop signs and/or symptoms of venous insufficiency in the affected leg that may persist for years. What are the signs and/or symptoms? Which patients are at increased risk?
Our observation of patients followed-up for 3 years is summarised in this interactive graphic, according to sex, age, thrombosis location, varicosities, previous DVT or weight. Real-time data from real-life RIETE Registry.
The results obtained from these graphics come from a database (RIETE), and its rights are duly protected by current intellectual property laws. Use without permission or explicit consent of the rights holder is strictly prohibited.
